The virtual simulation teaching resources of the 5G Communication Network and Application Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") are primarily deployed and operated on the university's campus network (education network). With continuous investment and construction, the campus network has deployed high-capacity cloud computing and cloud storage server platforms that can fully meet the center's simulation experimental teaching service requirements. Moreover, during the pandemic, the significant advantage of the virtual simulation teaching model in breaking through the limitations of time and space has allowed the center's simulation experimental courses to be conducted smoothly, strongly supporting the implementation of course experimental teaching activities.

  The Center actively constructs and operates high-quality simulation experimental resources through school-enterprise cooperation and joint management. In collaboration with China Telecom Chengdu Company, the Chengdu Telecom - Chengdu University of Information Technology 5G Laboratory is operated, which is equipped with a genuine commercial 5G network. This, combined with the 5G virtual simulation teaching system, forms a "combination of virtual and physical, complementing each other," achieving an excellent teaching and experimental environment with a high degree of integration between theory and engineering, and is open to the public. Over the past three years, through conducting experimental teaching, science popularization, cultural dissemination, social training activities, and exchanges, good social benefits have been achieved.

  The Center relies on well-known domestic online teaching platforms to publish shared courses and virtual simulation experimental resources, effectively forming high-quality resource sharing of virtual simulation experiments across regions, schools, and disciplines. Over the past three years, the Center's teachers have operated two online courses on educational platforms such as Zhihuishu and Bilibili, with students from all over the country, achieving positive and excellent teaching outcomes and social benefits.
