【Biography】
Jia Yang received her Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information Systems from Sichuan University, China in 2019. As an academic visitor, she was visiting Centre for Advanced Computational Science at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK from October 2022 to August 2023. Her main research includes Information processing, video coding and transmission, and computer vision. She has involved in and contributed to a number of research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Central Government Funds, Sichuan Education Department Funds, etc. She has published high quality academic papers and made contribution to the field.
