The Overview of the Research in CCE

     Science research covers information and communication engineering and Electronic Science and technology (two first level disciplines), involving communication, computer and microelectronics. College now has wireless communication technology and application, satellite communication and navigation technology, optical communication technology and application, embedded system and system design, computer communication and network, communication integrated circuit design, microelectronic materials and devices and microelectronic packaging and testing eight research teams.
Research directions include: broadband wireless communications in a variety of signal processing algorithms and the special IP core research; wireless sensor network system architecture and energy aware routing algorithm research; short distance networking of wireless communication technology and system development; system of satellite communication equipment and its application; the "Beidou" one or two generation navigation transceiver hardware development platform and the integrated navigation equipment and signal processing technology research; research on high dynamic positioning algorithm and improved and its application; UHF RFID tag, reader and application system research; micro wave and millimeter wave front-end solid component and system development; nonlinear effect of system and the high speed long distance optical transmission device and optical research; optical fiber sensing technology communication; research on collaborative design method of hardware and software of embedded system; FPGA technology based on IP core. The design and application of embedded system; cloud computing and new network architecture research; communication network management and operation of software development; network mass data storage and processing algorithm of mobile Internet and value-added services development; research and development of high-end RFIC chip using CMOS, SOI and CMOS technology, especially the Beidou satellite communication and navigation, radio frequency chip multi mode multi band RF communication chip; system in package complex analysis, mixed signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility, thermal effect of optimized processing, packaging technology, reliability and testing technology research; evaluation of new devices, the existing GaN GaAs technology based on performance in millimeter wave; LTCC technology with MMIC as the core of the small millimeter wave circuit module and system based on; development of new electronic materials and new devices based on new materials.

     The Institute has a variety of high-end test equipments 57GHz as follows, through these devices, you can realize the hardware from the loop simulation and concepts verification, algorithms, components to the system of fast simulation and evaluation.

     Academy research team has been committed to research and development to solve the industry applications and local economic development needs of electronic communications and information systems, equipment and products. Remarkable achievements has been reached. Wireless spectrum surveillance network system; ultra high speed RapidIO exchange storage system development applied to the key data storage; the development of millimeter wave 6W integrated solid state power combining amplifier, 8mm radar transceiver front-end and microwave components, the one or two generation of Beidou navigation transceiver, 900MHz support ISO18000-6c RFID card reader; design a digital TV receiving chip, 2.5-3.0GHz broadband modulator, multi channel wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g transceiver front-end single chip, the plastic optical fiber transceiver chip, 3G Standard broadband transceiver chip, land-based airborne phased array radar T / R module chip, compass a generation of RF chip and compass second generation radio-frequency chip a variety of RF chip and Beidou generation 5W amplifier chip and put into practical use.
